Diesel Conversation

I have just purchased a 26ft Senior Cabin Cruiser, at present it has a Volvo Penta Petrol engine and a 270 sterndrive.

I would like to change the engine to a diesel and retain the present sterndrive.

Can anyone please advise me on suitable diesels for this vessel
