His series of Sketchbooks from PBO are brilliant!
As you say, in many ways better than photos.

Yes, I have to agree, the Dick Everitt style of illustration can give a very clear idea of the salient points. However, it is very much more expensive than a few quick photos!

Thread drift: This reminded me of my childhood comics - anyone remember Ashwell Wood's brilliant cutaway drawings in the "Eagle"?
