As most of you will probably know, sailing the Dutch inland waterways, it's required to have a recent regulations almanak on board. We have it, don't read it so another silly example of wonderful administration. Anyway, the obscure fact is that it's only available in the Dutch language, not much of use for foreign sailors, right?

It is stated that the latest edition should be either in a book form or digital! This means that those who have a laptop are allright with a burned cd containing said regulations. These can be downloaded from an all Dutch site (that's the challenge!) for free, see link

What you will need is the BPR and SRW (for Westerschelde area) to cover most of Holland (except the river Rijn). BPR is about 8MB in HTML format and SWR 0,7.

If help is needed, feel free to ask.

I'll be happy to accept a drink with all who come to Holland to celebrate the 28 eruo/18,5 GBP cost saving...

Rene.

It's a gov' site (enough said?)... meaning it's not quite that simple. Can find an direct link so the downloading start up automatically.

What I could try is create a direct link to that word document... this might take a little bit....
