What pressure and delivery rate is needed for an effective deckwash pump delivering through a standard garden hose?

I used one of these Flojet R4325143L - Heavy duty pressure controlled Washdown diaphragm pump / Flojet Deck Wash Pumps / Flojet Marine Products / Xylem JabscoShop - Jabsco & Rule Pumps and more - from the experts which does the job. There are other lower cost pumps but typically with a lower flow rate. I used 3/4" hose to all the deck fittings as a standard garden hose will restrict the flow rate - especially over any distance.
The closest alternative might be the Sureflo which is about half the price, but no experience with that.
