It doesn't really concern me now that I am boatless but it looks from the last photo in #8 as if you can't take a direct line from the last red buoy into the river but have to hug the shore.
Belated thanks to both the ECP team and to John for another year of essential data for those of us who use these rivers occasionally. It's not quite up to having John White on board, but has managed to keep me from touching the bar for many years and I've sailed with 6 foot draft for the past 15 years. In younger days,, sailing Cadets, Fireflies and then an Enterprise out of Waldringfield, it was just a matter of pulling the centreboard up!
