Seems to have whipped up a right frenzy with the Church, trying to get withdrawn from book shops they are..

Not a bad read I thought, helps one to keep an open mind.

The part about your brain falling out was only a joke.
I thought the Da Vinci Code was some sort book on engineering do's and donts.
Mainly dont build the helicopter.

You'd think so. I'd heard they are about to start charging entrance fees in Paris Churches, pennies from heaven for the Scots..

Good old life of Brian, must watch it again, and the Holy Grail.. fantastic scene when Brian dropped his shoe - "Tis a sign" on the mount "Shut up nig nose" oh and ....The Knights of Nee - "come back 'ere I'll bite yer kneecaps"

Thanks Nas, one tries, it is good to know I am winning something.

Do people actualy care what the church thinks. when the pope was in the hospital window you could see the strings coming from his arms.

He does seem a little reluctant to meet his maker.

if 'the church' were trying to get it withdrawn it would rank alongside our local happy clappers parading the streets on halloween. it helps to lend weight to a bit of silliness by investing it with unwarranted importance.

it's an interesting contrast to the reaction to 'the satanic verses'. will the pope issue a fatwa?

The pope and god seem to have fallen out the way he keeps avoiding him in person maybe he can get the one below to carry out the fatwa or maybe avoiding him is making him hang on so grimly.

I think this whole pope sickness issue is just a whese by the church to grab the headlines. Now that that has stopped working they have found a new whese.

Just another way (a more pratical?) the Church opts to proof that indeed you can live forever....

By the way, Hollywood has woken up in the meanwhile. A movie (or is it film?) is planned for 2006 starring Tom Hanks, Jean Reno and Audrey Tautou.

Might be quite an interesting film indeed!
