Does anyone know how the pulley attaches to the pump on early models? Later ones have a thread on the shaft with a nut.

Mine looks like a press fit that has moved?

It should look more like this:

Wack it with a hammer?

Well, yes, if someone can confirm that it's a press fit I will try that :)
It's taken 12 years to wiggle 3mm, so I will add a note to the maintenance schedule: "Wack it with a hammer every 5 years".
A G-Clamp might also work.

But that's not going to end well if it is threaded in some way.

Got to be threaded otherwise why have an Allen key in the centre.

Allen key holds to the shaft still….3 prong tool or similar in the holes on the pulley.

The Allen key is for rotating it .They normally are on a tapered shaft and press on .
How ever VP might be different ? A vp tech hopefully will be along soon .
Its needs a special puller to remove it , those three holes . Warming up to expand it and reseating gently back .

I wouldn’t bang it with a hammer for fear of knackering it’s bearing / front seal .
