Well after lots of will we go won't we go questions over the last couple of weeks we're now making final arrangements for our trip west /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The engine (possibly as we speak!) is being serviced, we've got a lift booked with Sealift2 in Cowes first thing Sunday morning for a quick scrub and then we'll be off!!

Current plan is very dependant on what we feel like and what the weather is like on the day, at the moment it'll either be Weymouth/Dartmouth or Salcombe on Sunday night, followed by a couple of short hops along the coast, probably ending up in Falmouth for a couple of days before we hop back along the coast going to some of the places we missed on the way down!!

Everything is of course subject to the whether, from what I've seen so far while next week won't win any awards for being the hottest or driest week in June it should be reasonable enough with light winds for the most of the week so as long as we can dodge the showers I won't be too upset!

Hopefully this time my pictures won't end up at the bottom of Weymouth marina before I get a chance to download them!!

Look forward to posting the story of an enjoyable cruise /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Hope you have as good weather as we had for our short break earlier this week. We didn't go too far West - just ambled around various anchorages in the delightful weather! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

thats good! I ll be following you in a few weeks, so make a few notes for me!
If you get down to Falmouth take a day or so at Mylor; and if you get a good stable and sunny spell, try to get down to Kynance Cove (round the Lizard) You really would think it was the Med.

Thanks guys!

Jusy spoken to the misses, she's keen to get going and once to cancel the Sunday scrub and go either tonight or tomorrow! Now I've got to make yet another decision /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

What does the pannel think??

On Monday we were down from 36knts to 31knts, my main issue is the extra fuel we'll burn, especially given the not-so-cheap fuel we'll be filliing up with

Well the sun has just come out here now so go go go!!!!!!
Agree about Kynance spent many a weekend there as a child and now as the Olds don't live far away. Would also suggest Coverack as a nice bay if the weather is good after a night round at Helford and if get the tide right explore the river it is great fun.
Have a good break, we want lots of pics when you get back.
