Any one who saw my post on the weather and a window to get across the channel, well at last we plan to be off on Thursday. Sunny France and moules here we come and maybe the boat will be there in time for Christmas after all.

Thursday has what appears to be a lull of slight northerly circa 7mph. Ideal crossing weather.

Bit of advice

Have a look at charts and avoid any shallow areas in the channel, or big differences in depth, after the weather we have had of late it can make the seas high for a day or to, and by staying in the deep stuff you should find it is flatter.

interesting point...I also thought nabout all the flotsum that this sort of weather leaves around. Wednesday is calming down which is why Im thinking Thursday as a possible. But if I leave it longer the winds on the up again....so I think it has to be heads down ( below) and go for it.
Just no rain please, I hate getting wet

Yes, Keep your eyes open, with the tides we have had, there is a lot of junk floating around.
Keep eyes open and if you see anything considered "a danger to navigation", do give coastguard a call if you can on 67 and let them know. Lat and long required!!!
