Fantastic.

They were the best I have ever seen, dropped the hook just of the beach, had food and G and T and was fab evening, only one very brief shower just before and one slightly bigger shower whilst motoring back up the Hamble.

There was some sillyness, ribs going to fast and one bloke in what might have been a princess 45 or similar going way to fast.

The Police launch at the mouth of the river Hamble was behind the south cardinal bouy and had his flashing blue lights on, apparently, from the conversation I had with him he was hoping that his blue light would make people slow down, a strategy that was quite clearly failing, he did not agree with my point that his blue light was completly obscuring the 6 + one long light of the cardinal that the entire fleet would be looking for to bring them home.

There is a clearly defined system of lights which we all know about and he was destroying it with his blue lights, my reccomendation to turn them off on the basis of making the cardinal bouy visible was apparently wrong and he did not even seem interested in my opinion having just struggled to find the cardinal. I'll take this up with them today.
