Yep! And only just! The small low came right overhead and wind just died and rained biblically on us. Then coastguard started announcing new gale warnings all the way from Sole down the channel. Looks like the strong southern tip of the low swept under us and we only had about 20kts for half the night.
On approach to Scillies the visibility was down to a few hundred meters and then suddenly, about 1nm from St Agnes it all cleared in a matter of minutes!
Now anchored in New Grimsby and the sun is out.. but very windy.
