Fed up with chasing leaks around the boat. My 1975 Atlanta has teak decks and plywood wheelhouse. There always seem to be leaks. I cant afford the time or money to restore her as she was ( and the value of the boat doesnt warrant it)
I am thinking of just covering the side and rear decks with something cheap and waterproof.
Can I just glue something over the existing teak. If I have to remove the teak strips ( not a bad idea as I could then replace some of the underply as required) then Is there something I can just glue over the underply.
Even Tec-Deck is too expensive for me.
I may just bite the bullet and recaulk then apply coleon.
Help please!!

Strip off the teak and repair the ply as you suggest. Cover the ply with woven glass mat and several coats of epoxy. Add non slip grit to last coat of epoxy or use a deck paint. If the teak adds any structural support to the deck you might need to consider using a thicker plywood than is there at the moment.
Epoxy and mat and instructions for use form UK epoxy. (No connection to them, just a satisfied costomer)

Hope that helps
