Advice please need to move an awkward load from Gosport to Falmouth . 5ft x 14” x 6” x 40kg. Recommendations of a reliable courier, speed isn’t important.

Try dpd, they cope with odd parcels. You may have to phone them rather than just do it on line.

I got a parcel of more or less those dimensions from Portsmouth to Falmouth (furling gear). IIRC I used Parcel Delivery & Courier Services | Send a Parcel | Parcel2Go to find someone prepared to accept the package: not all that easy but once I’d found a company via the website, it worked fine.

Recline the front passenger seat of your car & take it yourself
Falmouth is quite nice, have a meal in a pub before coming home.
Someone on the forum will recommend a decent one with a view.

I can recommend several but he wants to get the package FROM Gosport TO Falmouth: anybody got any recommendations for a nice waterfront place for lunch in Gosport?
