I don't know about Shotley but Smooth Finish, 'Mr Smoothie', at Titchmarsh is very good, if busy.

Yes, Mike is excellent if you are up that way or are prepared to travel.

Halls at Walton do good work. I've had gelcoat repairs done by them, and can't find the place. But access is at high tide only.
