I am in the process of forming a Corvette Motor Yacht Owners Group (or Association) as there does not appear to be one which already exists - surprising given the 40 year history of Corvettes and their popularity. By various means, I've now collected 11 names who are all willing to be part of the group and exchange views, experiences, knowledge. The boats span ages from 1988 to 2008 and a whole range of engine types. It's early days but I'd welcome more names and so if you'd like to be part of our growing group, please respond via this thread, giving your boat name, home port, boat year and engine type. Thank you.

Update from Jan 2015. We now have 20 members in the group and regularly exchange information, knowledge and advice on these iconic boats. I'd still like more and would be pleased to hear from any owners out there interested in joining us. Since the first posting, I've also drafted quite a detailed history of Corvettes, which I'd be happy to include as a welcome to any new members joining us.

I have been trying to contact user "Marlene" re joining our Corvette Owners Group but unable to do so because no more PMs can be received due to lack of space. Please can "Marlene" contact me after clearing some space and reading my PMs?
Thanks

Please add us to your owners list. We bought a 32 earlier this year, now moored on Thames near Marlow. Keen to meet other owners, and keen to maintain/improve what we've got: advice welcome.

Up-date on the Corvette Owners Group - now standing at 29 boats and from wide-ranging locations (although most in the Solent region). We also have boats spanning a wide range of build years, from 1985 to 2008. The group shares information, experience and advice and between us we have accumulated a lot of knowledge. We also have gathered background information, data and company history. If you have a Corvette or are thinking of getting one and would like to join us, please get in touch.

Hi I have Corvette 32 year 1990 in Helsinki and would like to join your group. There is around 10 Corvettes in Finland, I ve been talking to some other owners, and we are planning to organize some kind of club here at the gulf of Finland for get togethers etc.

I found wikipedia article about Corvette yachts, and have been struggling with some common problems, leaking fuel tank, leaking windows, and now with broken propeller shaft., most likely caused by bad engine alignment.

Despite some difficulties, I very satisfied with boat, and planning to get newer model one of these days!

best regards,

Harri, HSK yacht club Helsinki

Great that the club/association is going well and the wiki entry makes interesting reading :)

We have a very early Corvette 32 and would like to be included in your list of owners . She was moored in quigleys marina in Glassan Southern Ireland and is now home for a refit.

I have recently purchased a Corvette built in 1991.I am currently doing her up as she has been a bit nelected. So I would be pleased to make touch with other owners to exchange information. My boat is called Mood Indigo and is currently berthed on the hard at Inverkip marina.
Look forward to hearing from you

Stewart - thanks for posting and PM. Just tried to send you a message with details but bounced as your inbox is apparently full. If you can clear, you will see my message hopefully.
