Corvette Owners Group

Up-date on Corvette owners group: We have now officially named our group the "Corvette Motorboat Association" with over 40 members currently. We have also just created a dedicated website which we would invite all Corvette owners and potential owners to view and provide feedback. This web address is https://corvettemotorboat.wordpress.com/ and the website is still being developed and expanded. Membership of the Association is currently free to any Corvette owner or would-be owner with an interest in this iconic boat.

I am in the process of forming a Corvette Motor Yacht Owners Group (or Association) as there does not appear to be one which already exists - surprising given the 40 year history of Corvettes and their popularity. By various means, I've now collected 11 names who are all willing to be part of the group and exchange views, experiences, knowledge. The boats span ages from 1988 to 2008 and a whole range of engine types. It's early days but I'd welcome more names and so if you'd like to be part of our growing group, please respond via this thread, giving your boat name, home port, boat year and engine type. Thank you.

Update from Jan 2015. We now have 20 members in the group and regularly exchange information, knowledge and advice on these iconic boats. I'd still like more and would be pleased to hear from any owners out there interested in joining us. Since the first posting, I've also drafted quite a detailed history of Corvettes, which I'd be happy to include as a welcome to any new members joining us.[/QUOTE

Hello,
I would like to join the Corvette Owners Group. I am Alan Seal and I have a 1986 Corvette Europa (the version without a flybridge and just an inside steering position). At the moment my boat, "Spindrift" is moored on The Canal du Midi in Southern France, but will move to Castlemoron on The River Lot South West France in the spring of 2016 where she will stay for a couple of years. The engines are 180 HP BMW Mercrusers.
