Coronet 290 Weekender

someone was asking for a nice looking 29 footer in hard top mode last week, and here it is the Coronet 290 Weekender

a lovely looking boat in its class, esepcially thinking the HT looks so good

I also thought it was very optimistic to claim 45 knots!

Nice enough looking boat... my likes and dislikes:

Likes

- Innovative front door in the windshield / roof
- Nice hatch lighting to the V berth

Dislikes:

- Sunbed is a waste of space imho. They could have had removeable cushions on the bow.
- Cramped seating due to sunbed eating a lot of the cockpit space.
- Cramped interior... seems to have less space than a Aquador 26.
- No sunroof

Anyway, always interesting to see something new, thanks.

Ahem,well you buy one then, looks damn ugly to me, the HT being the worse bit of all. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Beauty must be in the eye of the beholder, imho it's as ugly as sin. Shame cos the coronet boats of the 70s and early 80s were real classics. I bet this won't be considered as one in 10/20 years time.
