I want to take my boat to Conway Marina for a couple of weeks on a Visitors Pontoon. I will be taking my boat on a trailer. And as it is bit small to sleep on I would like to stay in a B&B.
So I would be grateful if someone can advise if Conway Marina has trailer storage facilities, and if there is a B&B (with parking) within walking distance of the Marina.
You can always send me a private message about the B&B as if people mention one on this forum I dont want the hundreds of thousands of people who read this forum to book it and when I want to go its fully booked.
(being paranoid saves money)

There's no slip at Conwy marina, most launch at Beacons slip nearby. The marina has a large parking area so the trailer shouldn't be a problem although they will no doubt charge for it. Town is only 10 mins walk (allowing time for dodging the dog ****) down the foot path. As suggested above, talk to the marina.

Conwy Marina

Maybe you ought to clarify which marina in Conwy. We kept our Griffon there 3 years, the car park was shared with the Mulberry Pub & at times was like a battlefield. The town marina is a different kettle of fish, never stayed there. There is also Deganwy marina across the river.
More clirification needed.

Conwy Marina list unladen trailer storage as £19/week in their handbook. (They have space on site and off site)

Conwy Marina is a good 10-15 minute walk from Conwy town where I'm sure there are multifarious B&Bs. Check on parking, as Edward I underestimated the number of cars when he built the town in the 13th century, and consequently convenient parking can be hard to come by (and some parts of the town are a long way from the marina).

The nearest potential accommodation is the Bryn Morfa Caravan park. Some owners rent them out, but they are privately owned, so you need approach the owners directly AFAIK.

Maybe you ought to clarify which marina in Conwy.

Conwy marina (west of the river) and Deganwy marina (east of the river) are both run by Quay Marinas.

The berthing rates are ~7.5% more in Deganwy than Conwy, although the visitor rates are the same.

There is no "town marina" as such - there are swinging moorings and some pontoon moorings (without direct shore access) in the river which would be much cheaper than the marinas. There is a water taxi service run by NWCC: NWCC Launch

In either case, I think you would need to pay a £20 launch fee to the harbour (I'm not sure, but I don't think you need to pay the "registration" fee for a sailing boat - even with an engine): Harbour charges (Includes visitor mooring charges)

There may be a B&B in Deganwy that is convenient for the marina, but as the marina is somewhat cut off from the rest of Deganwy by the railway line, it will still be a bit of a hike. There is a new hotel at Deganwy marina if you're feeling very flush Link.

There is also a slip (of sorts) on the Deganwy side of the river - I think it "belongs" to Conwy Yacht Club and you would need to approach them for permission to use it.
