Does the Converted Cruiser Club still exist?
I've just returned from holiday and one of the books I read was An Ocean Without Shores by C.O. Jennings. It was borrowed from this club's library in 1971 and although I'm not prepared to pay the fines it has incurred since, I would be quite happy to return it.
For anyone who hasn't encountered this wonderful book, it is about two British soldiers attempting an escape from Singapore during the 2WW in a tiny boat trying to get to Australia.
If the club does not exist, I would be happy to pop it in an envelope and send it to any interested parties.
