Controlled Bang.

Did anyone see or even hear the controlled explosion on Hurst spit at about 1630 today? Warnings were given on 16..
Wondered if it was a repeat of the canisters found along the coast. One was rumoured to contain phosphorous.
Just being nosey.

I was at Milford-on Sea about that time and heard a laod bang muffled by houses and trees and assumed it was an erant firework.

Think it was the Buttmaster general letting one go. Accounts for the shingle along Hurst spit as he pebble dashes that area frequently!

Now lookie here, I'll have you know that at the time of this pop, Mr & Mrs Buttmaster were walking ButtMutt and watching 4 deer in meadow adjacent to ButtMansion.

Didn't hear bang although must have been within 2 miles. Reckon that it was one of those yoghourt potty thingamees exploding from an excess load of Fray Bentos.
