Hope you don't mind me jumping in with another one to be going on with...? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

We all know that Avonmouth has tides almost as high as the world record of the Bay of Fundy. But there is another connection as well (clue: it's the name of a place)

Good to see someone else up at night /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I guess you are on the right lines, though I never knew there were so many place names in common! The one that I came across is Cumberland Basin: one is at the far end of the Avon Gorge from Avonmouth; the other is an inlet at the northeastern end of the Bay of Fundy

Either taken from the Norwegian Church, or from the small park next to it, looking across Roath (?) Dock.
