Has anyone done the coastal Skipper?

I was thinking of doing YM theory and Coastal Skipper practical.

Reason can't get enough logged miles. after 20 year boating its only the past 3 years that I've logged the miles.

Whats the difference ?

As usual all comments welcome

I believe it be done by year with rough destinations i.e. Poole. Bristol, London,
Or total mileage, it may not even need that amount of detail and only total N Miles. if you look at the format in the log book you will get an idea of what is required for previous years. Good luck.

Have a chat with the sea school, if you take the course they can judge very well how much boating someone has done, they may decide to let you take exam or give a day skippers ticket if youre not up to it.

I like you have 30 odd years in alsorts of boats but very little logged except in the way of the last 6-7 years, but I could show that I can handle a boat Navigate and above show that I can skipper a boat with unknown crew.to the satifaction of a examiner.
By the way yachtmaster is the worst exam I have ever taken, not because of some poo face examiner he was very good but it made you really think am I capable in his eye's. Afterwards if you pass i's a teriffic boost.
