ok now were talking breaking pontoons , who fekked the hammer head in tarbet last year at end of season , most impressive !
 
I'd prefer the earlier date in April if poss - our club cruising convenor has clashed with the 27th - as usual...
Glad to hear the pontoon's been fixed, now all they need is something to keep the waves off the corner!

I am led to believe it was a stinky carrying out some manouvre while still attached to the hammerhead.
Dont think those pontoons are designed to argue with many hundred horsepower packed into one big pull.

Sorry to say that I can't make the weekend of 26, 27, 28 April.

That ugly word, work, rears it's ugly head.

It's the annual repeat of the job that scuppered me last year.

I'll keep an eye on this thread in case the date changes.

All those who can make it - enjoy - and I would like to recommend the weekend to anyone who hasn't been before.

Well lads and lassies, its looking awfully like the april dates dont suit many folk.
How abouts breaking with tradition and pushing it back to sometime in may, which might give more folk a chance of making it.
What difference will a couple or three wks make.

And I will endeavor to be there with Alcohol, Guitar, Curry & a couple of Pals ..... but if no-one sails with me that weekend I won't be offended if you call me 'Jonny no friends' ...... because I'm thick! ...... skinned! :rolleyes:

Also if 'Peeps' can ... & think it's a 'good-idea' ... for us to get a couple of 'big-ones' rafted together (on the inside) I would be more than happy to provide some entertainment utilising some cockpit acoustics ... weather permitting.

I've also got a/the task of offloading/getting-rid-of a certain Dragon .... who I'm blaming for the disappearance of a number of animals and two pots of Curry ... so he just HAS to go!

Plus! ..... I've still not completed half of my 'to-do' list .... but I'm trying! (as you all know!) ;)

Just one minor/wee request ...... please pick a weekend with some reasonable weather! .... :eek:
 
As of today the deal for my boat might have fallen through so may will be better for me and give me a chance to find something else if I don't go ahead with this boat
