I will do my best to make sure that everybody stays completely sober so that nobody feels that they have to prove that they can't sing.

I will do my best to spoil that, but I need to drill a 3/8 hole through the shaft and coupling flange, then insert a steel swissroll..... or so I'm told, first.
If the weather is kind, we may get out on Sat to lower the tone.
If not, we wish you all the very best of conviviality.
Avast behind.
I don't need to prove I can't sing, I know it and don't feel the need to prove it. I do however have no qualms about showing I can't keep awake after a few drinks, ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzz
SWMBO and I are looking for berths for the Scuttlebutt Cruise.
We were all fixed up but our chosen craft is suffering mechanical maladies.
Some enquiries are already underway by PM.
Our usual berths are on a 1973 27' Albin Vega, so we're not spoilt by the latest in luxury.
Character references can be obtained from Aquaplane!
I'm going to be offline till midnight Thurs.
TIA
Ash

Ash, My offer of sleeping and eating quarters only, still stands as the cockpit on HB is only big enough for 3, and 2 while in the process of tacking in other words its tiny.
So if anyone has a bigger cockpit and can take you while sailing and one of my crew for sleeping you are welcome to the forward cabin, bring your own sleeping bags/pillows etc, but dont worry about food there is lots to go around.

PS I am hoping to be at Cumbrae pontoon for 14-1500 at the latest tomorrow.
Have pm'd you.
Well here is a snippet again ( and, oh yes, we have much more of this) which should show what to avoid.
I think you were just playing up for your English visitors. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Might need to take you up your offer for the Fri night. I'll see what I can sort out later this morning.
My crew is working till 15.00 hrs, so we should be at Largs by 16.30 and on the island shortly after.
He Ho - Talking to myself because the edit facility has time expired.
Managed to book a room at the sailing centre for tonight (Fri) so that's sorted. Crew is able to stop work at 1300 so hope to be at Cumbrae mid afternoon.
I've uploaded photos. File sizes are a bit small. The camera had forgotten my prefered settings. I should have realised when I had to reset the date. I must have too excited about the weekend.
