Dissapointed you cant make it Phillipa, enjoyed the chat last time.
There is only a small dreg left in bottom of bottle, waiting on fresh supplies from across the water, but I will keep some on ice for you until next time /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Philippa - no worries - we'll get you up here again next time! Truth be told we are struggling a bit for accomodation this time - my boat is unlikely to be ready, and another forumite has broken his!
It'll be alright on the night as they say.

Shall I have a word wit the guy I just sold Aquaplane to and see if I can "Borrow" her for the W/E?

[/ QUOTE ]

Hmmmmm - what would you say if you had just bought a boat and the ex-owner asked to borrow it for a weekend which involved towing it to Scotland?
Don't worry Aquaplane - you and Mrs Aquaplane have a berth for the weekend - It's Mr & Mrs Ash that should be worried - but I'm confident that we'll find something for them. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I am not towing a Centaur, it's not a trailer sailor.

Incidently I do know somewhere you could borrow a suitable trailer from! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Well I have a solution to that Pete.
I have Markie, my mate Craig and I in HB, but for the purpose of sleeping etc, if someone can take one of my guys for sleeping at night, then I could give my forward cabin (two singles or a big double) to you and your Missus Ash and if you want to sail with someone else or me during the day thats up to you, and you can eat on HB if you want.
I would be only too happy to have you.
So who can take a single for the two nights?

C_W, Pete, and everyone else.

Thank you all very much for your help and consideration. All options are welcome.

Billjratt seems to have made very good progress with his repairs, he still has more to do but I'm quietly confident that he'll be ready for the 24th.

Ash

BTW - Happy Birthday Billjratt

Yes I am also confident that Sahona will appear on the Friday night - Billjratt is a very resourceful young man.

Thanks for all the invites, sorry we won't be able to join you all.

We will actually be on Arran that weekend, so it would be good to know where you guys are heading on the Saturday, and we'll look out for you.

We come home on the Sunday afternoon ferry, so again will look out for you all.

If someone could post an update on Friday night or sat morning to say where you are heading, and what side of Arran you are passing, then I can keep an eye out for you with camera in hand.

Have a very good weekend all, and look forward to the reports.

Cheers

Al.

Should be there with Miss Sable and look forward to good weekend. Hope the wind stays out of the east as I always seem to bring easterlies to sports centre.

Hi S*Butters

SWMBO and I are looking for berths for the Scuttlebutt Cruise.

We were all fixed up but our chosen craft is suffering mechanical maladies.

Some enquiries are already underway by PM.

Our usual berths are on a 1973 27' Albin Vega, so we're not spoilt by the latest in luxury.

Character references can be obtained from Aquaplane!

I'm going to be offline till midnight Thurs.

TIA

Ash

Have a great trip all but remember that what happens aboard stays aboard and if you're going to be doing any carousing (and I sincerely hope you will) don't FFS post any videos on Youtube. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
