Hi
Having "messed" around with classic cars for many years.
I purchaced my first boat last year, I wanted something with a bit of character
that was fairly idiot proof. I ended up with a fairly sound but tatty 1964 Husky 24 Motor Sailer. 9 months on after getting a bit carried away with the restoration,I hope to have her in the water by Christmas!!
My question is do I own a Classic Boat ? the interior has been gutted and replaced with up to date fittings etc to fit the brief of a family boat or floating caravan some might say, but I plan to finish the rest of her in keeping with her age.

I look forward to your comments

Andy

Agreed. There isn't really a definition - in cars as well as boats, these days. The mighty Peugeot 205 GTi is apparently a classic now!
