I used one on a Briggs and Stratton lawn tractor. It worked well.
Whole carb was about half the cost of an overhaul kit.

Just to be different, the one I bought for a 4hp 4S mariner has/had two issues…firstly the float bowl seal was not the right size, easily resolved and secondly the float needle would sometimes stick and cause the engine to flood. A bit of wet and dry on the needle improved it but it still stick now and again.

Did one on the Lawn mower, and while it work well, the float needle does not seal in the way the old one did, and the tank empites over the 2 weeks between using it! For the money and lack of hassel I'd say still worth it.

if the fuel finishes up in the sump that could be a prob for the bearings ?
