If any one is passing Salcombe they may want to have a look at Steve Fossitt's cat which is currently moored at the top end of The Bag - tis pretty impressive.
It was even more impressive as it passed me on its way in over the bar a couple of weeks ago; think it came from Plymouth and is now in Salcombe for 3 months until a decision is made about its future.
A must see sight. We had a good look while she was in Plymouth.
An outstanding and historic boat that still holds these records:
Round the Isle of Wight
Miami – New York
Fastnet Course (Cowes-Fastnet Rock-Plymouth
Cadiz – San Salvador
Newport, RI – Bermuda
Round Britain and Ireland, all islands, non stop, crewed
Round the World, non stop, crewed, any type
That'll be the Bag full then......
Pity - I was planning a little jaunt to Salcombe this weekend, now I've extended my mortgage to pay the mooring fees!!!
