. . . and obviously one conscious of her responsibilities to a family audience: [ QUOTE ]
When I was sailing across the equator, I loved being able to dust off my bikini and wash my hair on Roxy’s deck. When I arrived back on shore, one of the first things I did was to have a hot shower.

Sam is such a professional; she know she gets paid for promoting her sponsor, not for sailing. Roxy make bikinis. She worked hard to fit the brand on her webcasts too.
Ellen McArthur, on the other hand, missed a trick sailing B&Q on her record run. We never saw her re-tile the heads, or install the new flat pack galley.

No, that's definately on You-tube somewhere. That is what all the tears were. Anyone who has ever tried to build flat-pack will have been easilly able to identify with Ellen's pain.
It's so-o-o difficult. the screws are wrong and the joints won't fit together. I can't get the drawer runners to run smoothly and I'm so-o-o tired. I haven't been able to open the packaging and the instructions are missing. I don't know if I'll be able to complete it.
But there again she did come second in the Vendee, not 4th, 5th or 6th - and went on to break the world record..... maybe that's the result of making extra extraordinary effort, and feeling the pain in the process?
