hi there has anybody used this poduct and which is best on old teak that has been washed in oxolic acid should i use teak or natural which is darker has any body got any pics with this on there boat ?

I used the natural finish. Very pleased with the results but time alone will tell. It might be as disappointing in the long run as other finishes I've tried.

The Sikkens Cetol Novatech/Novatop system is, if reports on this forum are anything to go by, better. Check it out

The woodwork around the companionway (and the grab rails) has been done with Cetol Marine natural. The locker tops and hatch boards are varnished.

(the Windrush next door is finished in 20 years worth of neglect and algae)

thanks vic looks a brilliant i wonder if any bodys got a picture of cetol marine teak to compare do you think its lighter or darker than what you used ?once again thanks for the pic

I used the "natural" because that was what was advised on here. It is almost completely transparent, like varnish, but has a slight orange colour to it.

from International's website:

Cetol Marine Teak
Identical to the Cetol Marine Natural but formulated with different pigments to produce a darker appearance.

The wood around the companionway is AFAIK iroko.
