the Cerri 28 was the first model of Cerri Marine launched in 1997 if my memory serves me right
the main reason is that the yard located in Massa near Viareggio has concetrated its efforts to building larger super yachts
at the moment the smallest Cerri is an 86 of which they delivered number 12 a few weeks ago
they sold further two 86 recently for delivery in 2010 which will make 14 models of the 86 presented officially in 2004
all 86 produced are different to the other really, meaning they are really a semi custom builder not only in colors but also in layouts
Cerri also launched a 102 this Spring and hull number 2 is under construction
the 28 was built at there premises of the time in Milan, the yard also built a 52 very nice and a 40, and the Cerri Tender a 40 feet tender, this last one was the last small boat produced
they will also produce a 70 feet Flying Sport in the coming year, a model which also I am waiting for a lot
the Cerri 28 was designed by hull designer De Casa, a renowned military boat architect
if you want any particular information let me know? I can ask the yard as they are good friends of mine

thank you for the info,
I really like this design,
and also the deck layout / design
I am surprised that nobody adapted or copyed this layout

do you know other interesting designs from De Case for leisure boats ?

indeed, I have considered this boat in the past, but due to not trailable, no go.

but another forumite gave me the clever idea to have a second boat permanently in my favourite destination in south Croatia :)

(and even a third one in Cassis ? ;) )

De Casa as a desinger is more popular as a hull designer for military boats, then pleasure ones

when you know its the same designer, you can see the similarities between the makes such as casa and Cerri. I quite like these !
