Centre Sheeting Jaguar 22

Has anyone changed the main sheeting arrangement. I am thinking of moving the bottom pulley to the foot well (fixed no track) and approximately inline with the end of the boom. The reason being to do away with all the mess at the stern and make it easy to board from the stern ladder. I'm not bothered about performance as I only cruise.

Don't know if it's any help, but here's the arrangement I have in a Jaguar 23. The track is easily removed though I only take it away when I take the sails/boom off. I do, however, regularly use the adjusters to move the block to leeward in stronger winds.
