Can You Just Sail Into Dublin Now.

it was lovely yesterday, blowing in HH today and cold. Got up early to go, then looked again at the weather forcasts, rain/mist mid week & later high winds. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Hi Debs - we were walking in Porth Wen/Brickworks on saturday, saw lots of boats, and a couple of speedboats came into the bay. Did you get there and moor up?

Have you tried Treaddur Bay? There is ample depth in the middle by the swimming area bouys, and the bonus of ice cream vans. Although it can be busy, its a nice area.

leg's a lot lot better now, still got a bit of a hole with no skin on, so think sea water walking pulling the dinghy in is still out. Sorry to have missed you.

The map shows it as a bit rocky, but its pretty easy to settle into the middle!

You made the right decision to hold off Dublin trip - weather will be poor until the weekend at least. Looking up for the weekend / early next week.

We left Anglesea at 13:30 yesterday in flat calm conditions but the wind was getting up from the South as we arrived at Malahide.

Trearddur is in here somewhere...

Well thanks, but no good this trip, we're going the other way.

Yep, going to Dublin was not the problem, except bloody cold. But sailing into wind and rain, did not make alot of sence. Especially with the heater broke.
