Hi i own a Jeanneau Merry Fisher 925 i'm looking to fit heating in the boat i will probably go for the Webasto system my questions are, can this system be fitted when my boat is moored in the water and also which is the best model of Webasto to go for thanks....

Yes you can - Just done it. As previously mentioned, ust remember to moor the boat against the pontoon for the side you require to drill the exhaust.

Obvious but often overlooked - do make sure that the exhaust is nowhere near where you normally hang a fender.......they melt very easily!:)

We to are looking at Webasto, rather than the more obvious Eberspacher.
What made you choose Webasto over Eber? I understand they are less prone to "dirty "diesel and easier to service?
Are you having it fitted or doing it yourself?

Don't fall into the trap of fitting one that has too much capacity or you will have problems.
These modern heaters are very effective and if its too powerful you will end up turning it down so it runs at idle most of the time and this WILL cause it to soot up and give start up and smoking problems, its better to have one that runs at full chat a large part of its life as it will clear itself out.
