can anyone help?

Hi,

I'm trying to get my Volvo 290 DP outdrive off in order to change the bellows and U,J,

But I can't get the ******* pivot pins out.

There threaded down the centre and the manual says attach a slide hammer and remove them.

Yeh right..... they won't budge...

Any ideas?

Heat mate !!
Try boiling water first just in case your lucky but then heat.
Make sure you have the slide hammer screwed right in .
