I've had a 128 (126 with external antenna) on my current and last boats and they've been excellent. Can't remember exactly what I paid for the new one, but certainly over £200.

I had no problem interfacing it to either my DSC radio or (Yeoman) chart plotter.

Regards
Tom

the 126 and 128 (128 has ext antenna) are a very good set, easy to use and reliable. had i realised the 126 would work perfectly below decks (grp boat) i wouldn't have bothered with the 128.

Had you thought of a...

The 126 is certainly a good unit, but had you thought of a 152 instead? For another £40, it gives you a much better screen - a 4-level gray LCD with over twice as many pixels, resulting in far better graphics. The 152 is also WAAS-enabled and has a clock and a built-in database.
