Byro pen on the seats...how to remove?

Hi all,

Bloody mate child has put small byro marks on my vinyl seats...tried starbright cleaner...nadda...anyone have any ideas...furious! help! :S

believe it or not the answer is hair spray, spray on and then wipe off

Or try an artists eraser,works on leather or suede

Try one of the Stain Devils stain remover. I believe there is one for ball point pens stains.

I thought that the traditional technique for biro was methylated spirits?

I though it was meths as well but I dont think it will work if it has dried.

I'd go with Philip's suggestion and get the appropriate Stain Devil

Try a JHL magic eraser available from places like focus cleans most things just add fresh water to the sponge these are brill !

the classic solvent for ball point ink is methylated spirits.

Had the same problem. Did not want to use solvents so scrubbed with warm water and washing up liquid. then left in the sun . The vinyl was white and the sun did the job for me after a week or so. That was when it used to shine!!
