Hi All

I am going to the LBS with the intention of buying a Jib furler for my 22' Invader Any recommendations without breaking the bank?

Thanks to all who replied to my query re Instruments I am getting the Navman 3100 Multi.

I did this last year at LIBS for my 22 footer! For me, the engineering on the Facnor from Crusader as a package really did it - very cheap , and they do include everything needed to make it work on the boat , down to the drill bit for the pop rivets! Excellent service. Had the S60 which has the option of locking out, taking the drum off and using it as a twin luff groove. Sail was Bi Radial with UVstrip, cut low for max area, and 135%.
Would have liked to think that the Sailspar of Brightlingsea would have been second
Last Plastimo, but is the cheapest.
Forget foing to -Furlex, Harken as these are mega money for not much more IMHO.

Good Luck

(I'll be there buying electronics for the new boat this year.)

Happy New Year Colin. Don't want to stretch your budget, but after closely examining your photograph, I'd suggest giving consideration to purchasing a mast first.

I was also in the market for a budget jib furler untill someone on this forum suggested rigging a downhaul to the head of my hanked on jib. I tried it and it worked a treat.

Try Z-Spars on stand 1482. I had one fitted last year and it works very smoothly.
