Hello,
I recently purchased a Mk IXA Bubble extant in excellent condition. Everything works and is very clean and rust free. However, it appears that some of the liquid had evaporated from the bubble chamber so that there is always a very large bubble in view. I followed all the original instructions but there is no way to reduce the size of the bubble due to I believe lack of sufficient amount of fluid.
Is there a way to refil the chamber and what is the liquid used? I read on IRBS that somene had removed the top of the black cylinder attached to the bubble chamber, refied it and soldered it back. If you have done that, or something similar, successfuly and would like to share your knowledge, I would be very grateful.
Thanks.
