I think that we often underrate early men's abilities. This boat would probably have been very efficient at whatever it was supposed to do. I remember seeing in Lelystad a fishing-boat dug out of the mud that had been constructed with a flooded chamber to keep the fish alive until they got back to shore.

A simple 'order of mag' error.... but then, so is yours, for I corrected my mishtook within a few minims. Yesterday. RTFM or summat....
