Considering purchase of a 2006 Broadblue 435 ,but very little about it on the internet.Does anyone have any experience sailing one and what are their thoughts?

I've sailed in a couple and did a full refit on one for a buyer a few years ago

They are very solidly built boats, good space and sail well if not fast. But don't get me wrong, compared to other cruising cats like Lagoon and FP of a similar size they are lighter and faster and I would say more comfortable at sea - but they are not performance models like the 550 from Broadblue or an Outremer

Build quality was very good - my customer was refitting for a very specific purpose as a live aboard with specific work requirements so we did 1200 AH LifePo and a ton of solar and rewired for all electric galley etc but the structure of the boat and the fittings were all in great condition .

I've sailed in them at reasonable speeds and they're comfortable with a high enough bridge deck to not slam around in to wind much and whilst they wont point very high, 50 degrees is quite happy. If I had to find fault I'd say check the over complex toilet holding tank and pump out system carefully (not sure all had the same though)
