All the british teams and sponsers should blockade BE's house and boycot the series for the next season - what an arse, and i'm not even an ardent follower of current GP

Bernie is a nasty little poison dwarf; financial success for F1 is one thing, being a complete buttock is quite another.

I think they should go back to REEAALLY wide slicks, iron brake discs, 1.5 ltre turbos and no electronics('cept mebbe engine management) and poss. no wings either. Now that would be exciting! Better still, let's have an experimental formula where you have to run the motor on yorkshire pud, coal, diesel, clogs or summat interesting like that; no boring sparkly plugs or petrol.

cheers,
David

Latest on the British GP.

The British Grand Prix is back on the Calendar for next year. But will not be confirmed till December!!!!, How long do these thing need to drag on for???

I wonder how many Millions it took for Bernie to change his mind!!!!/forums/images/icons/mad.gif

The other question is the British GP doesn't nessacary have to be held at Silverstone. Brands Hatch and Donnington are the only other tracks that have held the GP in the past, its very unlikely that they will ever hold another.
But what about Rockingham, I've never been there but understand it was built to GP standards, Surely a move to there would solve a few problems???
