Bristol Channel Meet.

There must be quite a few Forumites in the Bristol Channel.

Is anyone interested in meeting up somewhereover a weekend?

My suggestion would be Watchet Marina as reasonably close to Swansea ,Bristol Cardiff etc. Friendly staff and nearby pubs. Probably early on in the season before folk start heading West for the summer.

I have posted here as Bristol Channel people probably dont look at the events forum as it doesnt usually apply to us.

If theres enough interest we can switch over to the events forum.

We would be up for it later in the season - boat in Plymouth until August

We'll be at Neyland by the end of February. It will take a little time to get our bearings and the boat/rig set up properly, but I envisage being able to meet up for the odd week-end by late Spring/early Summer..

Thanks to everyone for replying.I am sure theres enough of us to get it off the ground.

Probably late spring /early summer could be the right time.Give people time to get afloat but before they take off for the summer.

I will put up another post closer to the time so we can sort out the details.

On the Solent to Cherbourg meet some people offered berths to people without boats to take part.Seems like a good way to try out a different sailing area.

I know this wont suit everyone so we can allways do it again later in the season .
