But also added yet another P35 to the list of boats given the once over in the marina.
Auctioneers were clearing out the last bits and pieces from Team Lotus headquarters.Everything from furniture to a couple of F1 cars.Piles of gearbox bits and stuff all bought by Dutch and Belgium peeps with smattering of other eurofolk.
Very personal stuff like medical and insurance certs for Lotus drivers. One which detailed that the premium was 23,000 dollars, this was in 1970s.Colin Chapmans flight case went for nearly 2000 quid.He would have been proud that to the end that that bag was associated with wads of cash.Took so long due to lawyery type fight over ownership.
Also went see a Nimbus 36 in MDL at Chatham, but as no upstairs or even decent set of patio doors now def off the list.
Blimey those Scandinavian ? types must be tough, with only bit of canvas to keep out all that snow.Surely they do not run for cover at the end of August like all our home groan Targa owners over here in the UK./forums/images/icons/laugh.gif
