Brest to La coruna coast hopping ?

See the link on http://jimbsail.info/tidal-europe/biscay/france under the heading "Gironde and Southwards" towards the bottom of the page.

Jim,

Maybe you could make it clearer in your text that:
a) The link you give is directly to the AVURNAV texts, and so is always up to date.
b) Not all sectors are active at any time, and frequently only for parts of any day, and almost always in daylight. You see, developers of things that go bang or whoosh don't like working in the dark, for obvious reasons !!!
c) Would it be possible to include a chartlet on your site showing the limits and sectors of the range ?? Something similar to the chartlet on page 927 of Reeds 2011 Almanac ??

Very good site, my complements,

As a result of the opinion given by the forum we did the coastal route last year and were so glad we did. So many wonderful places to see.

We stopped in La Rochelle for winter which was cheap and an ideal place to be.

On April 4th this year we did the only long part of the journey from La Rochelle to Gijon so missing out the corner where you can have problems if the wind is in the wrong direction. It took 44 hours and was a easy crossing with no big winds or swell.

Have a look at our blog which shows the places we visited along the French/ Spanish coast but all were a day sail away.

It might give you an alternative view of the journey and places to visit.

Good points. Wording modified.

Could do, but I prefer to leave navigation detail to Almanacs, pilot books and third parties!

Praise indeed from a knowledgeable local!
Now, talking about complements, a cheeky question. Would you be able to knock up a little Google map for me to link to? Something like GoCati's Map? Smashing job she did there. If you're not familiar with Google maps, there's a link to tutorials top left of the page!
