I had to check it wasn't april 1 again. They are so bloody unbelievable aren't they. Its a damn disgrace and they shouldn't be allowed to do it.Talk about greed with a world wide recession.Has just given me doubts again as to whether i should buy another boat,aarrgghh!!

Unless production itself falls, they are going to have to put that in the market at some stage. There are only so many tankers that can be used for storage. They will probably force the price down in future!

They should be made to pay hefty fines & extortionate anchorage fee's, hope they miss a really low oil price & can't take on fuel because they are already full. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Are they still crewed? Daily overheads will be eating into the notional value of the cargo, and the lower the value of the cargo, the faster that happens.
