Thanks Puff, i'm chuffed to bits! :)

Just got to get her transported back East and we'll be good to go. Methinks I might hold off the winter layoff a bit this year.

If it is a long trip one would suggest to take it in easy stages until you get used to her manners and to what she can take. A normal minor service of the engine (oil, filters, belts, impellers, shaft seal etc.) might also be a good precaution. Enjoy!

Myself I have a very busy winter ahead with my newly acquired 'classic'. A labour of love. :)

I had heard that, definitely one of the reasons I liked the Trident. I shall be joining very shortly for sure!

I own one in Portsmouth harbour - 1st season - no complaints but a bit of getting used to -

had a cracking time and with old sails and rig she sails great - not a slouch, not undercanvassed, good side decks - a proper yacht and well built and desgined. Makes me happy ...

the cabin is sort of airy and you can open the hatch in the forecabin and watch the stars -

and a sansom post -

The words "proper yacht" came up so much in my search when I was looking at her, it made my decision pretty easy, despite the fact that she's the other side of the country!

I also just love the solid feel and the way she looks, a real design classic.

Glad you're having fun Cloona, long may it last!
