When I saw the title of this thread I rather thought I would see some pics and information about the Boats that were at the show..... Any chance of that rather than waffle about getting peoples data

Pics would be good, but from the comments from people who visited and the obstacles put in the way of people looking at boats I do not think I will be visiting, too much hassle

I'm hoping to be able to do SIBS this year, will actually be able to stay on the boat before taking her to St Kats for the winter.

First time there this year. It is massive. We only did MOBO related viewing and accessories / equipment etc.

It was an impressive venue, lots of beer and bratwurst as you go round. My wife and I adopted a really good strategy of boat then beer. We'd view a boat, then have a beer. Was a little unsteady on my feet on the metro back to town...

Whilst it was sometimes a pain to view the boats, I did get on a few of them including the T43 which aside from others not being keen, I really like. Also looked around some Prestige boats which I haven't paid attention to before.

All in all a good event. Mixed it up with a day in the town on the Friday for the wife. Stayed at a great hotel and great food. Then just a quick plane journey home. Makes me think why I don't pop to Europe more for a weekend.

Sorry no pics, as I dropped my phone whilst trying to fill in all the forms for registration and phone works but camera lets light in
