I am currently reading 'If The Gods Are Good' - The Sacrifice of HMS Jervis Bay
by Gerald L Duskin & Ralph Segman, published by Crecy Naval.
I know there is a dedicated book forum, but think this might well be of interest here; I have always been taken by the story of the Armed Merchant Cruiser Jervis Bay taking on the pocket battleship Admiral Scheer so that her convoy had a chance ( the Armed Merchant Cruiser Rawalpindi had met a swift savage end doing a similar thing facing the Scharnhorst and Gneisenau just before ).
I can't believe how well researched and written it is, just wish it was a much thicker book !
