We had a lovely little Nimbus 305 coupe next to us in Yarmouth last night. Beautifully crewed and I immediately thought of this thread when the side door was opened as they sorted ropes prior to departure.

Thank you all very much for the replies and suggestions. There have been some amazing looking boats suggested, sadly way beyond my budget.

One day, I hope to have a Nimbus as I think the layout of them is ideal and they always appear to be well built.
I am often out on my own and so also need to consider a sensible size. At the moment, I think my best options are the Aquador 25c or 28c, they tick almost all of my boxes. I would have preferred a twin engine setup, which they don't have. I have seen some with a single older KAD32, which I would have thought is under powered.

Looked at an Aquador 25c when I was searching for a boat, looked a decent sort of thing but I wanted something slightly bigger. There are two versions, C and CE (I think) the latter has more accommodation.

Currently my vessel has no side doors
But it’s no problem because I am an Expert
In all things boating
Plus hoovering and doing the washing up
Cos ‘her indoors’ struggles now with that stuff
But
Although I am an expert
Two doors
Wide side decks
Aft cockpit easy access
Are features that may save my Marriage!
guys
It’s not the cost of fuel that may determine One’s boaty career
It’s the Divorce settlement🤪😕
Seeriarsley
As mentioned my current vessel has no side doors
BUT wide side decks, easy to access
Plus so safe to negotiate
My previous vessel ( A Nimbus) had a side door
Port side
Plus I was ‘Port side to’ on the berth
Made life easier
Cos I made lines ‘to fit’
So no ‘shuffling’ about every time
